Many students struggle with a particular course. Therefore, TiSEM Study Support organizes tutorships on behalf of the Tilburg School of Economics and Management faculty. In addition to the regular program, students are given the opportunity to attend extra classes, guided by students who have passed the course with a high grade.
Groups of approximately 15 to 20 students will be formed to receive extra coaching from a tutor who passed the course with an 8 or higher (7.5 or higher if the tutor is an Econometrics student). The tutor has specific knowledge and skills in that particular area. These tutoring classes review assignments from regular classes, extra assignments, and old exams. TiSEM Study Support is officially delegated to organize tutorships on behalf of the Tilburg School of Economics and Management faculty. Materials provided have copyrights.

Every year, we evaluate the tutorships that have been given in that year. Down below you can see the results of the academic year 2024-2025.
Types of Tutorships
TiSEM Study Support offers 3 different types of tutorships:
Full-semester tutorships: A tutorship consists of 11 lessons of 1.5 hours, in which a tutor will discuss the theory, exercises and old exams. This tutorship costs €65.
Mid-semester tutorships: A mid-semester tutorship is a tutorship which starts halfway the semester. It contains 5/6 lessons of 1.5 hours. A mid semester tutorship costs €35.
(Resit) Crash Courses: A crash course consists of 2 lessons of 4.5 hours. During a crash course, a tutor will explain all the necessary information of the course. A crash course costs €35.
Private Coaching
If your preferred tutorship is not available, please consider asking for a private coach!
TiSEM Study Support maintains high standards for its student and a regulated fee of 15 euros per hour of private coaching. Payment is arranged between student and coach. Please, apply for private coaching or become a student tutor when you have passed a course with an 8 or higher.
