First Year Bachelor Student

What to expect as a bachelor student?

For the Bachelor programs, the Program Introduction will take place on the 19th of August 2024 to kick-start your academic career. Participation is mandatory for all students.

During the Program Introduction, you will meet your Academic Director and mentor group, which will also be your tutorial group throughout the year. A week later, you will meet your Education Coordinator. The Education Coordinator will provide you with detailed information about your study program. Finally, you will get to know your fellow students better during several fun activities, where you will have to work together!

With MAK, we have prepared a fun and interactive program! Let us take you through the program:

UniQuest

We start the day off with an UniQuest, an interactive quiz based on the television program '1 vs 100'. You will compete against other teams, and try to win prizes for you and your group. Questions relating to Tilburg and student life will catch you up to speed for a good start here in Tilburg.

Diplomatic Mission

After UniQuest, you get the unique opportunity to step into the shoes of the political elite. Cooperate or clash with your fellow students in a heated and exciting activity. Find the optimal solutions and strike the best deals in order to try and rebuild the trust the people have put in you. They believe in you, do not let them down!

Lunch

Around the C-building, there will be a festival-like food truck lunch with live music which will give you enough energy for the rest of the day!

MAKe a difference

Kickstart your student journey by making a difference through this exciting part of the MAK Introduction Day, where you'll engage in fun games and activities to raise money for five incredible societal organizations, including the Red Cross and the Food Bank in Tilburg. Run through an obstacle course, play golf or one of the other exciting games! From day one, you'll experience the profound impact you can have on society, fostering a sense of community and compassion. Join us and connect with fellow students, societal organizations, and begin your academic life with purpose and positivity. Together, we can create a better world, one game at a time.

Student Sounds festival

For the first time, we are ending the first day of the introduction week with a festival on campus!
This will be the perfect moment to unwind after all the activities of the introduction day. Enjoy a drink with your friends, the sunshine and some good music. See you on the dance floor!!

We hope that this will be a good start to your student life here in Tilburg by getting to know your fellow students and your mentors!
